Natural pheromones are in sweat. Sweat a lot, and you got your "essence".

I think girls like the smell of clean.
Ie, clean hair, clean laundered clothes. Maybe a tiny touch of cologne if you're going out on a date or something, but generally the rule is that you should only be able to smell it really close up. It's okay to dress casually – but never to be dirty.

As for attracting girls?
Listen to what they have to say, ask them questions about themselves, try and be yourself, crack a joke or two, be sincere and have integrity. Stick up for them, be the kind of guy who never says anything behind someone's back that he's afraid to say to their face.

The external is less important than you might think.

Well, actually, there is a science behind pheremones. Like, if two people are "scientifically matched," then the other person's sweat will smell good to them. Like, my boyfriend smells good sweaty. So, if a girl ever says you smell good, when you know you don't smell clean, I'd say, go for that one. I don't know. You can't "create" your own pheremones to attract ladies. That's just silly. But if you want someone to spend the rest of your life with, just be the kind of person the girl of your dreams would be attracted to. It doesn't matter what you smell like if you're in love. I hardly ever tell my boyfriend when he has bad breath if he kisses me in the morning before he goes to work. The point is that he kissed me and it was sweet. The fact his breath stunk was superflous. So, get out there and be something. And then add someone else to your life.

alot of what people have said here is a little harsh. you do realise not every one talks to girls and gets a good responce. yeh we could try the be nice and be genuine and be yourself be funny approach and the girls (the ones ive met) will just look at you and say things like nah your not my type or move from me with your fake self not every one has an easy time being confident and “having a life” so the easy way looks more attractive to them. of corse its always best to keep trying. i do (still dont work tho)

weird is weird only when you don’t know what the other person is talking about. perhaps if the helpful ones here who are asking you to get a life got a life themselves, they would not be so preachy.
fact:
pheromones are produced in sweat; clean sweat usually smells good and healthy.try visiting a gym where everyone follows basic cleanliness rules and you will know. it is not just about sex, but about life itself: that is the purpose of sex after all, creating life.

observation:
you are NOT desperate or any less of a man than most people. devising ingenuous methods of getting girls is a common preoccupation among males of almost any age: some just spend more time on it than others.

suggestion:
pheromones are as strong as you are. meaning, if you are seen as a potential mate, your pheromones the female of the species will be attracted towards you. we are all driven by primal mating instincts (thus the common preoccupation with breasts: the better they are, the more chance of the baby being well fed and healthy; of that with the hips: broad and shapely meaning child bearing capacity .. etc).
In other words, if you just forget about what girls might like and do your thing, you could end up being mr. cool. everyone likes a guy who knows his own mind.
also, for the basic physical part of the pheromone production, work out a bit: remember, potential mates had to fight dinosaurs for survival ! if you are physically and psychologically fit, without insecurities, and reasonably satisfied with your life as it stands, you are more likely to be able to make it better.

There is no need to go to the trouble of collecting your own sweat and eating celery or sticking truffles down your pants.
